back up camera
 

I have a 2008 escape and want to install a backup camera, but don't know what color the wire is for the reverse lites. anyone know which one or the color it is or where could I get the wiring diagram. thanks for any help

Since you are going to get into the wiring one way or another it would be a good idea to invest in a test lite. They are not expensive and can come in handy up the road like checking fuses for example.
Anyway, with the key on , engine not running and the shifter in reverse position (parking brake applied of course) you can check in a convenient place in the trunk and very easily determine which wire is the reverse lite wire. Then you can tap into that wire if the directions state doing that.
