Clutch
Im trying to change the clutch in my 1990 ford ranger xlt 2.3 l. I still cant get the housing off the clutch. there are still 3 bolts on it and i cant get them off. I am able to get the socket on them but cant get the leverage I need to get them loose.I started to slip on one of them. If anybody knows anything about doing a clutch I would appreciate the help.

RE: Clutch
Try a wrench or a 2 foot long extension (or more) with a swivel socket. If you took out the crossmember - take a 2X4 across the oil pan and jack the trans. back up to access the bolts easier. A lot of times it's easier to climb over to the back of the motor (across the top of the motor) to the firewall and get it from the top.

RE: Clutch
dont do it by yourself alone better try to contacct your auto dealer about your concerns on Ford Body parts.Tryin to do it by yourself only make your situation more crazy.
