Clutch grinding

i have 1984 ford ranger 4by4 2.3ltr i recently put a brand new clutch throw out berring the whole kit.when i go to put it reverse it grinds and wont go in and i cant put it in first without shutting the truck off!when i shut it okk put it in gear start it with the clutch all the way in it moves alittle like im letting out the clutch..is it because there isnt enough gear oil in it or what?thankyou..oh yeah and how do u bleed the clutch its hydrollic?

There is a bleed screw on the clutch slave cylinder. If you know how to bleed brakes you know how to bleed the hydraulic clutch. I suggest you replace the whole fluid. While you are at it do the brake fluid too. In my Mazda Protege the reservoir for the clutch is the front chamber of the brake fluid reservoir.
There is a picture of a slave cylinder:
