code 401 on my 2000 3.0v6 ranger

Default code 401 on my 2000 3.0v6 ranger

can anyone help me i have a code 401 coming up as insuffucient egr flow replaced egr ,but code came back up does it sound like it could be a bad DPFE sensor.anyone ever experience this problem

Being a common problem and code that pops up, I would have replaced the DPFE first as a bad DPFE causes about 99% of all 401 codes.

thanks that did the trick i was questioning that or the egr regulator
