Default dropping a cylinder while driving

my 94 ford ranger with a 4.0 v6 is dropping a cylinder. toe clear up most questions while im driving after about 20 - 40 miles my ranger starts dropping a cylinder. i have replaced my whole fuel system since this problem started. i have also replace the coil and nothing seems to work. the problem happens fairly frequntly but sometimes it doesnt happen at all no matter how far i drive. while its dropping it will give a big lurch and usually stop dropping but sometimes no luck on that either.please if you have any ideas just shoot them my way so i can try and figure this out.
