Ford Raider - missing emission control part?

hey, i have a 12/92 ford raider, there is a tube running under my car to a clamp on my chasis under the drivers seat., but there is nothing in the clamp and there is no wireing harness, just the tube running to the clamp. whillst the car is running the tube has suction. just wondering if anyone could tell me what belongs in the clamp (as my ford spare parts dealer cannot)
