Ford Ranger Clunk

I get a clunk when I am decelerating. It comes from under the truck. From other posts I have read I think it is the ball joints?

Does anyone know about how much this costs to get fixed?

It will be less than $50 if you pull the drive shaft yourself and take it to a parts store like car quest that can press the new u-joints in for you, that is if you dont have a press. If you take it to a shop and have them do it all , I bet the will charge $150 or more.

According to our ford ranger truck the drive shafts were to short from the factory and we had to replace it with one a half inch longer AND replace the boot with a new one and special grease... love those fords
