Default Intake Noise

I have a 98 Ranger 4.0 L with 130,000 miles. Ijuststartedgetting a squeek/rub type sound From the back top center area near a sensor of my intake while the vehicle is at idol, but when you give it gas it goes away. It almost sounds like a belt slipping type noise or a rubbing. The vehicle is running fine. Any ideas on what this could be or where to start looking..
THANKS

It's the cam synchronizer..

The sychronizer shaft andhousing can run dry and cause a squeal, or squeak more often noticed at lower RPM's.. Like nails on a chalk board.. The sychronizer is 'clocked' and timed, and by the book requires a holding tool to replace.. You can 'carefully' scribe and mark the synchronizer housing to block position/location,then, theshafts rotationalposition (clocked angle/position) in relation to the upper housing/sensor..
