Leaking Gas

I'm leaking gas when I fill up at the gas station. I notice that it leaks when I fill to fast, or fill all the way. I never top off, I let it run till full. Then I notice about half a gallon or so of gas leaking off the side of the talk on to the ground! Possible cracked fillertube? Any Ideas?

if its an old ranger it could be the tank or the filter tube or the seal around the fuel pump but 2 things for you, either get under and replace somethings or on't fill it up til its full.
