96' Ranger 4.0 V6 all power.
I can press the button on my door panel to unlock my doors fine. When I press to lock them, they do lock but the alarm starts going off like I am stealing my own truck? Any suggeastions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Or just a way to disable the factory alarm would be nice.

 

is the alarm the the factory (panic alarm) or is it after market.

 

It is the factory alarm that blows the horn. I didn't buy the truck new, have had quite a while but don't know if it originally came with the key chain remotes to turn it off that I don't have. All I want to do is have use of the power locks but don't want to or need the alarm at all. Thanks for your help.
