Hello everyone i have a 1994 ford ranger. i have to turn my hubs in first then i have to push the button to make the 4 wheel drive work but all of sudden my buttons rnt working for 4 wheel drive. can anyone help me figure what is going on ?

I would guess you have worn or dirty switches in your shift motor. There's an excellent article on rebuilding these yourself and saving a couple hundred bucks. Check out this link.

I did this on my sisters 94 Explorer (which drivetrain is nearly identical to my 94 Ranger) and it worked great.
