Due to apparent abuse by the previous owner, my 61,000 mile 98 Ranger will need another rear end soon. I want to get one with the same gear ratio that I have now, so how do I find out what I have? Its a 5 speed 2.5 Flareside if that helps any, thanks.

 

Scratch that, Ford actually has a tag on the axle tube with the ratio (3.70).
