my reverse lights arent working replaced the bulbs but still nothing any suggestions i have a 99 ford ranger 2.5l

 

I have the exact same Ranger (is it XLT? manual trans?). Do you have a Hayne's/Chilton manual? I'm looking at mine, and the only things that could fail, short of a frayed wire, are the fuse, bulb, and backup lamp switch. I would say check the fuse (it's fuse #26, behind the panel by the driver side door). I don't know how you would check the backup lamp switch.

 

Please check the fuse. brake switch and wires. make sure if everything properly installed.
