Does anyone know how to repair the steering wheel lock on a 87 ranger. It's has a 2.9. 5 speed transmission. And doesn't have tilt wheel. Something in mine broke. I went to crank it up and it was hard so I turn wheel some. Because sometimes you have to turn the wheel for the key to competely turn to the run postion. But this time something in there broke. It is stuck in the assy mode. And the key just turns back and forth. I took the key cnyliner out and it looks fine. Also, will I have to take the steering wheel off to fix the problem. Thanks in advance if someone can help.
