Won't Start After Engine Washing
My 1990 Ranger won't start this morning. Yesterday I went to the car wash and spent an hour cleaning the poor girl up. She had been full of Hurricane Katrina and Rita mud and yuk! After cleaning her up at the car wash, which included an extreme engine degreasing and washing, she started right up and I drove her a mile or so home. Now this morning she won't start. She tries, turns over a few times then gives up. I thought it might be the battery so I jumped her. Same thing. I am assuming I got something wet? If I did get something wet, why would it start after washing but not this morning?
Please Help! This is the only vehicle I have left after the storms. |
RE: Won't Start After Engine Washing
I fixed it. Water in the distributor. Thanks anyway.

RE: Won't Start After Engine Washing
don't wash your motor with a pressure washer
