1995 Taurus Check Engine Light
 

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get the check engine light code(s). With this being an OBD1 Advanced and Autozone don't have the scanner. Some types of vehicles used to have a way of turning the key on and of several times and then the code blinks through the check engine light. I can do all the work myself so I'm just trying to avoid paying to get the code. The CEL doesn't come on all the time, it is sparatic. Comes on for a while then goes off while driving. Any help is greatly appreciated.
