2000 taurus 3.0l 24v engine diagram
 

I was hoping that someone out there may have a diagram of a 3.0L 24 valve duratec engine.

What diagram? Probably have a lot of different ones. Specify what area you want.

I want to change out the thermostat.
Where is it located?

Thermostat — 3.0L 4V
Removal and Installation

Drain the engine cooling system.
Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the water outlet adapter.

Remove the bolts, the water outlet adapter and thermostat.
Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

(Second thumbnail here)

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

I own a 2001 Taurus Duratec and the above diagram does not look like my configuration. I'm having a hard time finding the part that gets bolted onto the Thermostat housing. Help?
