2000 Taurus Flasher Location

I need to know where the turn signal/hazard flasher is located on a 2000 Ford Taurus. I don't have an owners manual and don't really want to buy a shop manual just for this. So far I have looked in the under dash fuse panel, the engine compartment panel, and a small box mounted on the side of the battery box. So far all I can find are 5 prong relays. The part we bought at Autozone has 3 prongs.

Help!?

If you are right, then we have the wrong flasher. My wife bought it at Autozone. It is taller than all the ones on the CJB. And it only has 3 prongs. I didn't pull the one you have described, but I did pull the bottom left box and it has 5 prongs.

Do I have the wrong flasher or is the one you pointed outa 3 prong?

AZ probably sold you a standard 552 flasher. I am pretty sure you car uses an electronic flasher. Last one I had to get from Ford.
