Bought a used 2008 Taurus Limited and love it - except having problems with the computer. Keeps showing "power train" problem when I drive over 250 mi in a trip. When I shut it off and restart it's okay for another 100 miles. I hear there are "problems" with this computer. Anybody have similar problems? Car still drives fine, mileage is still pretty good. Oh; when the "power train" light is on the cruise won't work.

 

Dependant on mileage, it should be under factory warranty. Contact your local dealer.
