93 taurus fuel pump
 

Hi I am usually in the truck forum 87-96 is there any way to replace the fuel pump by going thru the floor or whatever without dropping the tank? 93 taurus

The correct way is to drop the tank. If it is low enough on gas, you can just lower the back and remove the pump. If you cut a hole in the trunk, you can access the pump, but it is really hard to move the connectors out of the way so you can remove the pump. I would bite the bullet and drop the tank. It can be replaced in about an hour lying on your back.
