Use Mobil One Full Synthetic and a regular Bosch filter/Purolater, or K&N/Mobil Synthetic. Only use the oil specified in your owners manual. You are not a chemical engineer, nor are you a Ford mechanical engineer, to simply change oils without a absolute know how of what you are doing is not smart. That motor was built to run a certain oil, use the right oil, not what you think should work......Sorry to be so strong.

If you have an oil leak, well fix it. This will fix 1/2 of your problems.

All my engines will start with virtually no issues, as Mobil One FS is made to flow like water down to like -58 F.

oil pressure gauge

The oil pressure gauge is installed and is registering a pressure within the limits i've been able to find (40-60 psi @ 2500 rpm after warm up). No leaks on the pressure gauge line and the light is working, I'll call it a win. The only final conclusion I can make is that the car is just cold natured and takes a while to warm up. I'll keep it inside whenever possible and stick with the 5w30 oil for now. Thanks to all that provided constructive advice!
