auto climate control

i have an 01 taurus SES. im looking to keepthefactory radio look but upgrade the AC to climate control instead of using those knobs....is this just plug n play? or are there major wiring mods to be done?

I don't believe it is a simple swap but a trip to the junkyard to locate a control unit should answer the question just based on the connections. You may get lucky and they might match. You may need to run a 12v feed to the unit if it isn't in the harness for power.
