blower motor replacement 2003 taurus

Default blower motor replacement 2003 taurus

I took my 2003 taurus in to the shop due to the blower out on my a/c. they told me that water got into the blower motor and resitor and they are out. i can get the parts for cheaper than they quote but can a regular person install them? if so anyone have any guides I could download? thanks guys

Blower Motor
Removal and Installation

1. Remove pin-type retainers and the right instrument panel insulator.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector
3. Remove the screws and remove the blower motor.
4.Remove blower motor

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

thank you so much!!! you are a life saver. i quick follow up. is the resistor part of the blower or is that different part?

Separate part, same location in the case.. Next to the blower motor.....
