I would like to help you ,but what does ects stand for?
Do you mean the ECT, engine coolant temp ?
Bad habit I have , always question how do you know it needs to be replaced?

eddygordo57 12-04-2011 11:18 AM

sorry. ECT

The engine coolant temp sensor is usually located on the thermostat housing.
It should have two wires coming out of it.
It's not a big deal to replace it , but the ECT is used by the computer to control various engine functions. There is a separate sending unit for the temp gauge . Are you sure the ECT location is what you want? That was why I asked how do you know it is the problem.
