Jacking Up A 1992 Taurus!

Hi, My name is Ronan.
i own a 1992 Ford Taurus and i want to jack it up and put bigger tires on it. I was wondering
if anyone could help, would any suspension assembely from a Ford truck fit on my Taurus? is there anything i couldnt buy to do this? what other things would i have to change to pull this off?

Thank you,

Ronan

RE: Jacking Up A 1992 Taurus!

sure, anythings possible... if you've got about 20,000 or 30,000 dollars up your sleeve. you would have to either build or have someone build a complete custom suspension. you've probably got this idea from old camaro's, firebirds... and what not... well, they have actual chassis/frames and are not a unibody. with those you can unbolt the body and bolt it on a truck frame. your taurus won't work that way seeing as its body IS the frame. make sense? I don't see any safe way to try that with a unibody. I wouldn't bother with it to tell you the truth. good luck with it.
