Default Need help finding Taurus a/c pulley installer

Hi all! I recently had some noise coming from our 2001 Taurus LX 3.0L V6 OHV engine compartment. Long story short: It turned out to be the a/c clutch pulley bearing. Once again, thanks to all who offered advice--it definitely helped!. Anyway, the only real problem we had doing the job was getting the new a/c pulley on far enough to install the snap ring. NONE of the pulley installers I have would work(They were all to big). I even have an installer that is supposed to work on Ford a/c's, but it was also too big. And the local Auto-zone mgr said they don't carry it because it is a "dealer specific" part--and that no-one else will have it either. Does anyone know where to get an a/c pulley installer that will work on the Taurus ? I want to be ready for when our other Taurus a/c pulley needs to be changed. Can anyone help?

We use a dead blow hammer and gently persuade it on the compressor until the snap ring will fit.
