radio / 6 cd player replacement

I have a 6 cd changer in armrest that is not working. I cannot find the fuse but radio still works ok - does power go thru radio?
Anyway, I am thinking of replacing this setup with a ford radio / cd unit in dash instead but not sure if the wiring will work. I could just replace the 6 cd changer with another one.
Also, would it require any dealer setup on the pass code type issue?

The CD changer is controlled through the RCU in the trunk. Power for the changer comes from Fuse 117, which is a 20 amp fuse in the Battery Junction Box.
