Default rear brakes

I need new calipers in the rear, but the e-brake connection is giving me some problems. I cant get the calipers off without removing the connection with to the e-brake. Need help.

Default RE: rear brakes

Same car, same year, same problem. Are your brakes disk or drums?

I assume you have rear discs, since you're saying you have a stuck caliper. This is a relatively common problem on the Taurus. Do you have an SHO? IIRC, only SHO's had rear discs up until 1995... I could be wrong though. For more information I would recommend posting in the Maintenance & Repair Forum on the Taurus Car Club forums.. http://www.taurusclub.com
