Hello,
I need to put a better engine into my 1998 Taurus SE that has a3.0in it.I fouund a 1997 Taurus SE 3.0 and I want to swap it into my 1998's engine compartment.
Will everything match, will I have problems?
The 1997 is a whole car and ithasinterior items I needthat'd make this all worth while...as long as I can make a engineswap.

Should be a straight forward swap. Make sure that you mark every line, hose and connection on both vehicles. If and when you have to cut lines/wires, cut the excess on the doner vehicle. Don't cut short on the recipient. Pictures, Pictures, Pictures. Take pictures of both engines and connections prior to starting. These make the swap out easier as you can use them for connection reference. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
