taurus overheating in summer

Default taurus overheating in summer
I have a 2000 Taurus se and only in the summer will it almost overheat to the point to almost to the h then back down and keeps repeating. only in the summer, am considering adding a scoop to get more air to the engine. WILL THIS HELP? please advise?
