when i come to a full stop in my 1997 ford taurus i get a thump. its weird like the brakes or transmission are going thump. im not sure where its coming from its very lite and not horrible but its been doing this for .years. any suggestions or thoughts thanks guy

 

This may sound stupid but, look in the trunk. Look at the area where your spare tire goes. I had a loose article inside this area once, I could have sworn that it was the suspension.
