Default 90 Probe bucks like a horse

Hello all, I have a 1990 Probe 2.2 5 speed, when taking off and going through 1st and 2nd gears it bucks like someone is driving it that has never driven a stick before. Once in 3rd or if you drive like a bat out of hell through 1 and 2 it does just fine, no bucking. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

OK, I beat yall to the cause, just in case anyone else comes across the same problem, here is what I found. The air intake hose, if that is what it's actually called, it's the hose between the air filter and the throttle body had a bunch of huge gashes on the under side. I basically duct taped the crap out of it for a temp fix and now it runs like a champ, new hose is now on order.

Kneepuk is right! I took the car to the garage after trying all sorts of things. That's exactly what it was.
