1981 T-bird hazard lights not working, turn signals do work
 

My hazard lights don't work, so I was going to get a new flasher module. It has two modules, one for regular turn signals and one for the hazards. I swapped them to test, and now my turn signals blink at the normal speed (they were sluggy before) and my hazards still don't work. So it's not the module, what else could be the problem?

This goes back a little.
Some had a 3 prong flasher for the hazards and 2prong flasher for the signal lights.
Are you sure they both use the same type flasher?
Did you check all the fuses?
Signal lites are fed from the ignition switch, hazards are fed all the time even with no ign key on. Suspect a possible fuse problem.

The flasher I pulled out had two prongs, as well as the plug.
According to my manual no other fuse affects the hazards, but I will check all of the when I can.
I have had some recent electrical issues, my dash lights and rear defroster blows it's fuse all the time, and today turning on my heater caused the fuse for my digital gauges to blow. I had the hazard light issue before both of these though.
I can throw a fuse in for both of those with the car off to test the hazards, so I'll do that later this weekend.

If you can,invest in a circuit breaker the same rating as the fuse that keeps blowing and it will save you a lot of trouble replacing fuses while you are looking for the short.

Me and my friend fixed most of the other electrical issues. I have all the fuses in and they aren't blowing, so the problem must be somewhere else.
