1981 Thunderbird

I have a 1981 T-Bird with a v-8 4.2 liter engine, and my oil light just went on yesterday. I just bought it a couple days ago, and this probably sounds pretty stupid, but I cannot seem to find where to refill the oil!

If someone could help me out with this it would be greatly apreciated.

RE: 1981 Thunderbird

nevermind, i found it, now the oil light only goes on when i am in park or sometimes when i idle.

Also i am having a problem with the car stalling when i go from a stopped position into a turn or something that requires some acceleration. usually if i floor it the car will get back in gear, but i have had to stop and re-start the engine before.

Also the car accelerates extremely slowly and rumbles and shakes. the gas pedal feels really spongy.

The power windows don't work, the motors work, but don't grip the window, how do i fix this?

You should know that if the oil light keeps coming on (which it shouldn't) it's a good sign the oil pump (or if you're lucky the oil guage) in the engine is shot. First check your engine oil pressure to be sure. Then you may want to rebuild the carburetor. Last try checking the window motors to see if they need new gears or or see if they are missing hardware to attach them to the window frame. A parts breakdown would help you there.
