I'm trying to figure out what the trim tag translates to: P6FH184112 (VIN), 40A A XA 17MH184 - What does "H184 stand for and is this a correct plate?

P -- 312 engine
6 -- 1956 model F -- made in Dearborn H -- thunderbird body style 184112 -- consecutive body number 40A -- this is the body style of the car A -- this car is raven black XA -- black and white interior 17M -- december 17th H -- 184 -- 184th vehicle scheduled to be built on december 17th the H does not show up as anything in the ctci decoder. The only code with an H in the sales district, this part of the decoding is for the sales district, is HO but that is for the FMC transportation and equipment department. Could this H really be an 11? If it is an 11 instead of an H then that means the car is from the Boston sales area this site https://www.ctci.org/decoder.php or this one Classic Thunderbird Data Plate Decoder will help you with this further if needed :) |
