'91 Supercoupe won't start!!!
Hi, I live in England, I have a '91 Supercoupe which I have owned 17 years. Over the last 12 months occasionally it wouldn't start, now it won't start at all. There is no spark at the plug leads out of the coil pack. There is hot feed to the ignition module, any ideas welcomed or where can I obtain a star tester to check out engine codes. I shall be in the states in April. Many thanks for any help |
it might be a few things. it could be your coil not sending a signal to the distributor in which case change the coil. it could also be you distributor not sending the signal to the wires, or it could be that your wires are burnt up. simple thing to do is do an iginton tune up. replace the coil, distibutor cap, all the wires, and your sparkplugs.

It does not have a distributor.
You most likely have a faulty coil pack or a bad crank position sensor. |
Hi Guys,
Just returned from the states, brought back a cam sensor, crank sensor and ignition module, first thing I tried, the crank sensor, problem fixed!!! Thanks for all your suggestions. Regards Ken Shipley. |
