92 tbird slow crank.

Its my brothers fiances car. She doesnt take care of it. Im stuck fixing it only because my love for cars. /minirant

The solenoid died a few weeks ago, replaced it.
Then the starter died days later. replaced it.
the battery tested bad, which was new and under warranty. replaced it.

It still turns over like it has a dead battery. it'll crank every time, but turns over really slow. I cleaned the battery leads at the terminals, and replaced the terminals. didnt help. What should i do now? I guess the next thing i should do is replace the battery cables. There was a few small wires at the solenoid on the fender. what are they for?

thanks.

I think you're on the right track replacing the battery cables, BOTH of them.
You could do a voltage drop test , but it is easier to change the cables because if they are corroded internally you will be changing them anyway.
Some of the smaller wires at the solenoid supply things like headlights and possibly one or two other things. Some of them are special because they contain fusible links .

Is the battery BIG enough? Check the CCA, (Cold Cranking amps) If they are below
about 650, Get a bigger battery!

since you replaced all that stuff then it,s a possibility it could be the ignition switch ! before replacing it try this ! turn the key on like your going to start it and take a screwdriver and jump across the solenoid ! if it turns over fast that way then replace the ignition switch !
