94 ford thunderbird starting problem
Well... my dad has this 94 ford thunder bird 4.8 V8.
Alot of miles... When your either at a dead stop or rolling to a dead stop, it will stall. No signs of sputtering or struggling, it just shuts off. Then I have to put it in nuetral or park, turn the ignition OFF and then back on to start it back up. If I just try and start it again, it will just crank for ever and not fire. I replaced the Ignition Control Module, and it made no difference. It has the coil packs replaced already. I am leaning towards the computer since it is a distrubutorless ignition, its all computer controlled. Thoughts? Any tips would be appreciated guys. |
