96 T-Bird cooling fan not working
My cooling fan on my 96 T-Bird with a 4.6L is not working. I have replaced the thermostat and the temp sensor with no luck. I found that when I disconnect the cable connected to the temp sensor, which is near the thermostat, the fan will work. So, the fan is good but for some reason it is not getting a signal to turn on. My temp gauge is running above normal and I have had a slight loss in coolant but no visible leaks. Any ideas?

I replaced the fan, the engine cooling sensor, CCRM, thermostat and computer.....believe this or not I still had the old thermostat, it looked nothing like the new one, put it back in and when the temp gauge got to the "m" in temp the low speed fan kicked in.....I even traced wires, and put the relay in the power box under the hood.
