intakes for 87 thunder bird

Default intakes for 87 thunder bird

just wondering if a 95 Ho intake would do any good perfomance wise for my thunder bird or is it the same intake.thanks chris

Certain intakes are for certain engines. If you flip-flop parts you should be prepared to drop in a lot more than just the intake. The computer must have matching calibrations to the air intake and fueling parts to control air and fuel mix or it may not operate correctly. If it adds airflow you may want the HO type injectors (if ther was a size/pressure difference between them) and possibly other fuel system parts (such as fuel pump) also.
