Limp home on a '03 T-bird

Hi,
I am located in Cologne Germany, my registration is just a few minutes old and I'm directly posting my problem.
Since eight weeks Iam working ona 2003 Thunderbirdfrom a friend. This car is falling into limp home mode (MIL and wrench tool lighted, max. 1500RPM) every time it is driven under warm conditions. Additionally very often there is a stumble during idling which sounds like misfire but WDS is not showing any indication for that.

The error code readings are always 2110 and 2107 which are both pointing to the throttle and the stepper motor. The complete throttle body including potentiometer and stepper motor has been exchanged by new parts without success or even a change in behaviour.

Additionally I have closed the EGR valve by a plate between the valve body and the intake manifold. For testing I disconected MAF and all vacuum hoses in turn. The measures of the accelarator pedal sensor showed good and constant increasing / decreasing values. The engine got new spark plugs and coils.

Now I amcoming tothe conclusion that there is a bug in the engine compartment loom and my question is, whether someone of you has any similar experiences with this and knows a specific area which I should inspect closer.

Any ideas?

RE: Limp home on a '03 T-bird

I had a tester tell me the distributor module failure was the EGR valve. Lesson of the day - do not rely on the tester for any real help. If in question check it all. Fuel pressure, then spark plug fire, then air intake. Have you checked the air filter? The air flow could be starved. Did you double check the new spark plugs for proper gap?
