I can't locate the VIN plate on my 1960 square bird. can someone tell me where it is hiding? Any help will be appreciated.

 

The VIN plates for most older Fords are in one of a few places. Usually there are 2 tags. A VIN and a warranty plate. The Vinis oftensubject to the elements. These ID tags are located on the front ot rear of the drivers doorframe (could be on the body or the door) on the upright, or on the cowl/underhood firewall area (just below the back of the hood) on either nearer the driver or passenger side or on the fender apron usually drivers (beneath where the side of the hood meets the fender).
