Default Where to find E7 Heads?

Hello Im looking to do a HO Mustang conversion on my 1986 t-bird without breaking the bank. I know I can find E7 heads on ebay but are there any other alternatives? And what's the likelihood of finding some in a junkyard?

Thumbs up

Welcome to the site..

We used to install 5.0 HO engines in the place of the 5.0 in F Series.
Even back in the day the engines could be had for less than a Ford reman long block.
Mustangs were wrecked at a fairly high number in comparison to other models, so donors were plentiful.
Might be a bit of work to find either a low mileage now given their age, but you might stumble on a wreck that’s had a refresh during its life..
