I just installed a cold air intake and now the check engine light is on. Under light and full throttle the car responds. In between the car either jerks or bogs down. Sometimes the car will jerk or bog down under any load. All I did was remove the restrictive factory air box and installed a K&N cold air intake. The car has not died but is not running like it did before install of intake. The check engine light is on but I have no scan tool. I was thinking of taking off the battery cables so maybe the car can relearn with air intake in mind instead of the factory air box. I know that I am not the only one that has tried to install an intake. Can anyone help? I'm at a loss right now and any help would be appreciated. Thanks
