1983 Ford 302 Ignition
 

Can I use my existing 1983 electronic ignition with just vacum to the distributor, distributor plugged into ignition control? No EGR and all the other pollution control devices, sensors. I'm wanting to rebuild the motor and put in an eldebrock performer cam, intake, carb with headers. Want to keep it simple as possible. Or do I need to get an older model electronic ignition system to make it work?
