i have a sucking noise coming from the distributor, it does it for a several minute time when car is started, then stops, but yesterday it did not stop for a long time, there is no vacumn hose that hooks up to it, and the only thing that has been done to it, is a gasket replacement. help help

 

Gasket replacement? It sounds like mabey the Distributor O-ring is bad. Have you replaced the pcv valve? you could be hearing crankcase pressure leaking around the distributor.
