2005 Ford 500 Gauges-sudden drop/flicker

Has anyone experienced all of the gauges just flicker to the left for a quick moment and then go back to normal on a 2005 Ford 500 ???

Any advise on what is happening ?? Thanks

check the grounds; primarily battery cables. they liked to corrode and create problems like this.

A stray AC voltage from the alternator can sometimes cause something like this.
What you can try is to unplug the plug from the alt and take a short test drive . If the problem is gone, you have an alternator problem that will require the alt be replaced.
If you need to do that , your best bet is to get the replacement alt from Ford. There are so many variations and so called exact replacements come with problems of their own.

There is no need to purchase a new alt. Ford usually always has a rebuilt to exchange with yours.
