2007 freestar wiring

I have a 2007 Ford Freestar SEL 4.2L w/manual slide doors. The problem is that the wires on the driver side sliding door have been cut in two so i have problem w/back-up lights, rear cargo light and elec. door locks. Can anybody tell me where to get wire harness for this or a diagrahm or how to fix this. It had a black plastic chain looking thing w/wires attached to that but all of that came apart when a container of McDonald's caramel dipping sauce was 'lost' in the channel and it became very sticky and pulled loose the wires and the roller cut them into. Thanks!

I would try to get the part from a junk yard. A few phone calls should do.

or sue McDonald's, they already paid someone millions for a spill of hot coffee. ;-)

Talk to the guy at the service department of your local Ford dealer to see if he would be willing to make you a copy of the shop manual page containing this info. If not can you strip the cable sheathing away, you should then be able to see the individual wiring colors to be able to match them up.

If neither is possible I'll try to scan my Haynes manual that contains a typical exterior lighting wiring page for the Freestar. Which is why I suggest to speak with Ford first as this is just a "typical" diagram and may not be as accurate as the shop manual.
