RE: 351 windsor

the newer 5.8 L blocks that accept roller cams and lifters would be what I would look for or maybe a marine block which is stronger than the standard auto block

why a windor and not a cleveland?

RE: 351 windsor

Windsor blocks are much more readily available and the parts are much cheaper than the Cleveland parts which get harder and harder to find every day as racers have snatched them up big time over the years. plus the crank is stronger in a Windsor too!

RE: 351 windsor

Thanks a bunch! I have to get ictures of my falcon uploaded here but when I raced my falcon with 351 cleveland against my dad's mustang with 351 windsor , I always kicked his ass and when we switched cars he always kicked my ass. The motors were stock no mods.
