how much does a assembled 390 engine weigh.

 

Right about 605lbs, but far less with an aluminum intake manifold. They LOOK big, but as far as big blocks go...they aren't that heavy. (Now, a 429/460 engine...THAT'S a heavy one!!!)

By contrast, a small block Chevy weighghs 575lbs!
